A year ago my mother signed me up for classes with Kaffe Fassett, whose work with color and design I had admired for years... the catch, she said... I had to learn to knit. One brief crash course with my local knitting shop expert, Jasper, and I embarked on my class with Kaffe -Persian Poppies. It was over my head in many ways... but the result was the little swatch, in the middle of the left hand row. What follows in this blog is a chronicle of knitting and life adventures... and I was asked why I wanted to start this blog... and still I don't know... but I'm writing it anyway.
