Knitting progress

This is my blue sky alpaca hoodie progress... just before I decided to frog it.   Three reasons for this:

1.  I hated how it fit.
2.  Alpaca does not block easily and has no memory, so I couldn't count on fixing the fit by blocking.
3.  I learned about the beauty of seamless sweater construction and from here forward any sweater I make will have to be adapted to that technique.

So in fact, all of this is a simple result of my lack of research and my inexperience as a knitter.   I decided to salvage this beautiful yarn for a more worthy pattern.

On a more productive note... the felted clogs.   I've spent the past couple of weeks in a cabin in the snow and I began to catch up with the belated x-mas gifts.   I've got this pattern down to 3 hours per clog -so that's about 14 hours of knitting stacked on the table -evenings with netflix and knitting needles.   The half eaten red and orange pair are mine, post-puppy chewing.   The gray ones belong to JB.

I'm feeling a creative surge this year... I hope it keeps up!
